Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts is fourth in the Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta, beginning with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Early in his life his father became obsessed with theatre. As a student in Emory University he appeared in various productions both in and outside of the campus. While stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was commissioned into the airforce in the year 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. In 1955, the couple got married and their child Eric Anthony was born. In 1957 the couple left the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960 the family moved into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1964, Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television program called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by themselves. The Actors and Writers Workshop was established in 1964 and lasted for six years. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
