Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October, 1967 to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fona Roberts is the fourth generation of Roberts living in Atlanta. In the early years of his life his father became obsessed by the acting. When he was a student at Emory University he appeared in various productions both at and off campus. After joining the airforce, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. They got married in the year 1957. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans In 1957, the city of Louisiana where the couple left the Air Force of the United States. Walter began his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou began producing a television show for children in Georgia, Decatur called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They financed the production themselves. The Actors and Writers Workshop was founded in 1964 and ran for 6 years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also called Julie) at the time.
