Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. She is best known for her part as Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and she has also produced and appeared in her own films Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977. She was born in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle is her older sister who is also an artist. The father of her is Jewish while her mother was raised Southern Baptist Benson grew up at a Reform synagogue located in Alabama. After Buffy came to an end, Benson has been in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series.
