Lisa Edelstein, an American actress who is best recognized for her role in House, a Fox medical drama. She was raised in Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. At the age of 18, she emigrated in New York City to study at the Tisch School for the Arts. Soon, she was a part of the club scene in New York and began making headlines. Press also took notice of her. Her experiences and fame to compose and write an musical entitled Positive Me in which she starred. Then, she was hired by MTV to present Awake On The Wild Side. Following the end of the series her appearances began in films and television productions beginning with small roles, and slowly established her place as an actor.
